To Audio Converter Lite does the things you would expect an audio converter to do, namely convert one audio format to another. It can also convert video files from video to audio. The software accepts over two hundred file formats, covering most of the most popular audio formats available. The feature that sets this software apart from other audio converters is the ability to "improve" the sound of converted audio with certain tools, such as trimming the silences and fading the volume in and out. Where applicable, To Audio Converter Lite can also transfer meta data from the original file.
A Nice Taster
There are a number of features that would be a nice addition... and you can get those features by paying for the premium version. As for this version, it would be nice to have a batch conversion option, or the ability to scrape meta data from the web. There is also no CD ripping ability. For a free app, however, it is very good.
